PACKET PICK-UP
Packet Pick-up will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2019 from 3-7pm at Mountain Outfitters, 112 S Ridge St, Breckenridge, CO 80424 

Race Day Packet Pick-up will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 6:30-7:30 AM at the BreckConnect Gondola, 170 Watson Ave. ​

PASTA DINNER
We will host a pasta dinner for all participants, family and friends on Friday evening, after packet pick-up.  Tickets are available for $20 pp. and is available for the whole gang, so the MORE THE MERRIER! You can purchase your tickets in advance, through your registration or can also, go back and add to your registration at any time.  REGISTER HERE!

BRECKENRIDGE WINE FESTIVAL
Experience hundreds of wineries, breweries, distilleries, and local cuisine at this ultimate food and wine experience. Whether you are a full-fledged foodie or an emerging gourmand, you are sure to find more than one event to fulfill your appetite at the Classic. ​

​RACE DAY
Race Day packet pick-up will be available prior to the race start from 6:30-shut down promptly at 7:30 AM at the BreckConnect Gondola, 170 Watson Ave.

​Please make sure you plan accordingly as the last shuttle to the race start for the Marathon and Half Marathon will depart at 7:45 AM SHARP.  The last Shuttle for the 10K will be at 8:10 AM SHARP.

We will have coffee, lite bites, restrooms, music, etc. at the startline... come hangout, stretch and relax before your race! No need to stress!


PARKING/ SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Shuttle service to the race start will begin at 6:15am, in the South Gondola Lot (located across from the town transportation center) and run until 7:45am, only. Please make sure to plan your morning accordingly.  Anyone who arrives after the final shuttle leaves at 7:45am, will not be allowed to start and will result in a DNS.

there will be NO vehicular access at the start of the race.

GEAR CHECK
Gear Check will be available to all runners at the Start Line.  Due to rapid weather change in the mountains please make sure that you are prepared and dress accordingly.  We have seen weather ranging from bluebird skies to snow.  Remember the start line is at approximately 10,434 ft and could be very cold.  If you choose to leave a bag with us at Gear Check, it will be transported down the mountain and waiting for you when you cross the finish line.

Aid Stations/ Restrooms 
Aid Stations/ Restrooms will be available on course roughly every 1.5 - 2 miles.  Aid stations will provide water, energy drink and alternating stations will have a variety little snacks (i.e. pretzels, M&M's, pickles, gummy bears, bananas, oranges, energy bars and gels).

Timing
The Breckenridge Road Marathon will be timed using  a B-TAG System.  All runners will receive an official race bib with a B-TAG permanently affixed.  

​**IMPORTANT: Runners may run with only their assigned bib and may not wear an additional bib for someone else.  We have a ZERO Tolerance Policy for cheating and the individual owners of both bibs will be disqualified.

Course Cut-off 
The course cut-off  for the marathon/ half-marathon will be 7 hours (3:00PM MST), those who do not finish in the allotted time, will not receive an official time. 

Runner Responsibility
You are running this race at your own risk, and will encounter mountain terrain.  Please be aware that you could encounter hazardous weather or wildlife during this race.  Roads and bike paths remain open to the public, please be aware of vehicles and other users.  Runners and Spectators must be respectful of other trail users. If you are running with music, we ask that you remove one ear bud, so that you can hear what is going on around you.

**IMPORTANT: As the Race Director, we reserve the right to cancel, delay or post-pone the event due to inclement weather or other safety reasons.  Refunds for such occasion will NOT Available.

​We are a stroller friendly event, however, some areas on the course are narrow and we kindly ask that you are considerate of the other runners. If you need to start near the back, please do so and allow the faster runners to go ahead.

The Town of Breckenridge is VERY pet friendly and your pets are welcome to spectate the event with your family and friends, however we DO NOT allow pets on the course.  


AWARDS
All finishers will receive a unique commemorative Breckenridge Road Marathon Finisher's Medal. 

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male/Female Winners each event.  

Age Group awards will be awarded to the 1st Place Male/Female Winners in the following 10 year Age Groups;
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.


POST-RACE 
The Post-Race Party will be waiting for you at the finish-line!  We will have great food to fill your belly, good music to groove to and plenty of activities for your family and friends to enjoy while we we await your return. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy that crisp Colorado mountain air!
